More About the Update Service

What You Get

Subscribers to the Update Service receive replacement pages for their books, along with a memo explaining the changes. They get the latest codes, rules, forms, and all of the author's additions and improvements (which may include topics not previously covered in the book, like the July 2007 Update, which expanded the scope of the book to cover Limited Civil Cases, the July 2009 Update, which added an 11-page section on calendaring, and the January 2010 Update, which added electronic discovery).

When We Update

We get our Updates out to subscribers before they actually go into effect. So, Updates effective January 1st are mailed out, at the very latest, early in the last week of December; those effective July 1st are mailed out, at the very latest, early in the last week of June.

Your Subscription Period

A one year subscription entitles you to the next two Updates issued after your purchase.  January and July (or July and January).

What It Costs

  • If purchased separately, the Update Service is $80.00 (plus sales tax) per year.
  • You can save $10.00 off your first year of Update Service by buying The Works or the Combo Pak.  With either purchase, you'll save $10 plus tax on your subscription.  You not only save money, you save time, and make sure you don't miss out on any Updates.  Purchasers of The Works or the Combo Pak are also entitled to the AbacusLaw Bonus Offer.
