OUR BOOKS:  The current versions of our textbooks are: (1) Litigation By The Numbers® (“LBTN”) revised January 2025, and (2) California Civil Litigation and Discovery  (“CCLD”) 13th Edition, January 2025. Most instructors require both books. If you need both, choose the first option (Companion Pak) so you can buy them in a single transaction. 

• We offer books in PDF format only. They are not refundable once downloaded (see below).
• The prices shown are the student discount prices; there is no coupon code to enter.
• You can search, highlight, and add sticky notes. You can save them to all of your personal devices. You may print one copy for your personal use.
• The text of the student versions is the same as the regularly-priced version. The features are different: The student versions are watermarked with the buyer’s name, email address, and phone number on every page, and there are no working hyperlinks. If you want non-watermarked, fully navigable PDFs, purchase the full-priced versions by going to “Shop Our Products.”

• BEFORE YOU CHECKOUT, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED THE CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS. IF YOU DO NOT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG BACK IN.
• Your downloads will remain on the server for 30 days. If you are unable to download them by then, let us know.
• Once you download your books, you will access them on your device(s). There is no reason to log back into our site to access them.
• If you know you are staying in the class, please download and save your books immediately upon purchase from the confirmation page. If you download from the purchase confirmation page, you will already be logged in. If you download via the links in the confirmation email, you will need to enter username and password. Use the “forgot password” link if you do not remember your password.

Note: Purchases of PDFs are not refundable once they are downloaded, so if there is any chance you’ll drop your class, do not download the books. There are no exceptions to this policy!!

LBTN UPDATE SERVICE (future updates): When you purchase LBTN, you will be prompted to subscribe to the e-Updates Subscription at checkout. Regularly $99/year, it’s only $45/year for students. (The student discount will no longer be valid if the subscription is placed on hold for nonpayment.) For more information about the Update Service, click here.

BACK UPDATES: Back Updates are only available if you are missing no more than two Updates. Use our Contact Us form to request Back Updates. Include your name, the revision date of your book, and the email address you used to make your purchase so we can tell you your options.
