In California, changes are made to codes, rules, and forms every January and every July. The author monitors those changes well before they are implemented, and has often been involved in the changes themselves [see comment matrix]. Nine times out of ten, those changes affect the accuracy of Litigation By The Numbers®.

- Do not purchase any procedural guide without first checking when it was last updated and how often it will be updated.
- Make sure it’s updated twice yearly, and that changes go out before they go into effect.
- Make sure the revisions highlight key changes.

Our Update Service ensures that your copy has the latest rules, codes, and forms – so it remains as up-to-date as it was on the date of your initial purchase. Customers who initially purchased their books as far back as 2003, and have continuously subscribed to the Update Service, rely on the same material being sold today!
Initial Cost, Recurring Charges, and Cancellation
The Update Service is just $99/year. Subscriptions are initially set up for recurring automatic credit card charge. An email is sent five days prior to the charge date. If you do not want recurring automatic credit card charges, then you’ll need to subscribe and then email us requesting that we switch you to manual billing. In that case, five days prior to the date your payment is due, you will receive a single notice to make the payment. Subscribers may access their account online and cancel at any time.
How We Notify Subscribers About Updates
We notify active subscribers via email when an Update is available for download. It is the subscriber’s responsibility to ensure that their email address on file is current, and to whitelist our email address so that notices do not go to their spam folders.
Back Updates
If you are missing no more than two updates, and you purchased your copy from us, we can help via the Update Service. Please use our Contact Us form to send us an email with your name, the revision date of your book, and the email address with which you made your purchase so we can guide you.
